Gensol group faces insolvency over Ireda dues
The NCLT Ahmedabad has initiated insolvency proceedings against Gensol Engineering and its subsidiary, Gensol EV Lease, following petitions filed by Ireda over significant defaults. Gensol Engineering owes Rs 510.10 crore, while Gensol EV Lease has outstanding dues of Rs 218.95 crore. The proceedings follow Sebi investigations that revealed financial irregularities by Gensol's promoters.
